aur Computer Service was founded as Computer Doctors of Wisconsin in 2002 by Anthony Farrell as a computer service company that specialized in computer repair. Late in 2003, Mr. Farrell was contracted by Peter J. Grimes to build the website known as Carnation Cam, which was created to bring Internet camera technology to the floral industry. In February of 2004, Mr. Grimes and Mr. Farrell merged their respective businesses to form Carnation Cam, LLC a.k.a. aur Computer Doctors.
aur Computer Doctors moved their home office into the front of Mr. Grimes' flower shop, aur Floral & Gifts, located at 6913 W. Brown Deer Road. After several months of the business continuing to grow, the home office was moved to a shared office space at 5401 N. 76th Street, suite #204. At this time, a small team of independent contractors was brought on board to assist with serving clients and growing the business.
In June 2005, the business again needed additional space, and moved into a large office located in the same building, 5401 N. 76th Street, suite #205. At the same time, the model for a computer drop-off location was invented and implemented at 5911 W Vliet Street, then known as Earth, Wind & Flower.
Then early in 2007, Vince Caracci - with a background in computer repair and computer networking - became the third co-owner of aur Computer Doctors. Shortly thereafter, aur Computer Doctors was renamed to aur Computer Service.
Today, aur Computer Service is located throughout metro Milwaukee including the Milwaukee area and has recently added a full-service computer repair shop at 5911 W. Vliet Street. As the business continues to grow, several more offices and drop-off zones are scheduled to open. aur Computer Service currently offers several additional services which has aur Computer Service poised for even greater growth. Innovations in computer technology allow for state of the art products, such as computer technology, web-based camera surveillance and web-based employee time tracking.
